Sensis to install Target Data Extractor in Fairbanks, AK

DEWITT, NY - August 1, 1999 - Sensis will install a dual-channel Target Data Extractor (TDX) to digitize and remote the ASR-8 radar and ATCBI-5 beacon in Fairbanks. A Weather Data Extractor (WDX) is included to provide 2-level weather information to the TRACON display. Additionally, Sensis will be installing its Automation Interface Unit (AIU) to adapt the TDX digital output to the ARTS-IIE automation and display system.
