Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast (ADS-B) Transceiver

Sensis pioneered the development and implementation of ADS-B, fielding the first operational ADS-B transceivers for both the Mode S Extended Squitter (1090 ES) and UAT datalinks and participating in ADS-B trials throughout the world. Sensis ADS-B is deployed as part of the U.S. FAA Capstone and Safe Flight 21 Programs in Alaska and across the East Coast of the U.S. Sensis is also providing ADS-B coverage in the Hudson Bay area of Canada.

The Sensis Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast (ADS-B) Transceiver serves as the key component to link avionics with existing air traffic control infrastructure. The highly capable, compact unit supports either the 1090 MHz Extended Squitter (1090ES) or Universal Access Transceiver (UAT) standards to receive latitude and longitude, velocity, altitude, heading and identification as determined by aircraft avionics and the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS).
