Media Advisory: Sensis’ Suite of Airport Automation Tools Re-branded to Showcase Breadth of Capabilities


DEWITT, NY - April 5, 2005 - Sensis Corporation today announced that its suite of Airport Automation tools have been re-branded to better showcase the breadth of their features and functionality, and to prepare for future additions to the product suite.

Powered by Aerobahn, a secure, web-based platform, which integrates data from surveillance systems such as the Sensis Multistatic Dependent Surveillance (MDS) multilateration system, as well as a flight plan, ACARS, gate, and related flight data, the Sensis Airport Automation products provide airlines and airports with comprehensive operational information to more efficiently manage and measure airside operations.

As a result of the initiative, Sensis Operations Snapshot, which enables users to quickly assess the status of airfield operations by providing statistics that summarize arrival and departure information, will be re-branded as Sensis QuickView; Sensis Traffic Monitor, which enables users to tactically manage operations in real-time for improved situational awareness and informed, cost-saving decisions, will be re-branded as Sensis TaxiView; and Sensis Operations Analysis, which enables users to quantifiably review and analyze past operational events, and the circumstances surrounding the events, to identify trends, potential inefficiencies, and related issues with existing airside operational procedures will be re-branded as Sensis OpsView.

Customers of Sensis' Airport Automation products, which have been selected to provide increased visibility into airside operations, include: Fraport for Frankfurt Airport; and Northwest Airlines for Minneapolis-St. Paul International and Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County airports.
