Sensis Corporation Employees Honored With Senior Fellows Award

EAST SYRACUSE, NY – December 19, 2006 – Three Senior Systems Engineers at Sensis Corporation, Brian Edward, Bill Hullings and Eli Perl, have received the Senior Fellows Award, the highest engineering honor at the company. The award recognizes technical excellence and outstanding contributions in the areas of invention/patents, innovative solutions and fundamental research.

Brian Edward was recognized for securing numerous patents, including those to address the challenges associated with tactical and long range radar systems and the neutralization of explosive devices.

Bill Hullings was recognized for leading the successful upgrade of the AN/TPS-59(V)3 radar for the United States Marine Corps and for the integration and test of key components of Sensis’ advanced airport surface surveillance system. The system has been installed at 11 airports and is operational at eight. Full deployment includes 35 of the top airports in the U.S., including Atlanta, the world’s busiest airport.

Eli Perl was recognized for his two patents, numerous papers for technical conferences and efforts in the successful completion of Sensis Corporation’s first surface movement radar development program (SMRi).
