Sensis Corporation Appoints Marc Viggiano Chief Strategy Officer and Antonio LoBrutto General Manager for Air Traffic Systems


EAST SYRACUSE, NY – July 30, 2007 – Jud Gostin, President and CEO of Sensis Corporation has announced the promotion of Senior Vice President Marc Viggiano to the newly created position of Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). Previously, Viggiano, a Senior Corporate Vice President, held the role of President of the Sensis Air Traffic Systems division. In his new role, Viggiano will be responsible for the company’s worldwide strategic direction and will lead the Strategy and Advanced Development Group. Viggiano will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of Sensis’ strategic technology roadmap and will oversee corporate research and development activities, including mergers and acquisitions; new business incubation; intellectual property licensing; and marketing activities, including internal and external communications, government relations and branding.

In announcing the new position, Gostin said, “Marc’s appointment as our CSO marks the beginning of a very exciting time for us as we position the company for increased growth on both the national and global levels. Marc’s proven ability to successfully and profitably launch technologies and penetrate new markets will enable Sensis to continue its growth as a diversified technology company.”

Since launching the company into the air traffic systems market in 1997, Viggiano has grown the Air Traffic Systems division from a supplier of surveillance sensors to a supplier of portal-to-portal air traffic surveillance solutions. Today, these solutions are deployed in more than 25 countries across 5 continents.

Viggiano is a seasoned industry professional with more than 30 years of experience in the design and development of advanced civilian and defense sensor and communication systems including ground, air and space based radar, Air Traffic Control automation equipment and communication based train control systems. Prior to his 21 years at Sensis Corporation, Viggiano worked in Advanced Sensor Systems within General Electric's aerospace group. Viggiano received his BSEE from Rochester Institute of Technology, an MSEE from Syracuse University, and is a graduate of the General Electric Advanced Course in Engineering.

In conjunction with the CSO announcement, the company announced that Vice President Antonio (Tony) Lo Brutto will now lead the Sensis Air Traffic System division. Previously, Lo Brutto led the division’s surface surveillance systems segment. In this capacity, Tony was responsible for worldwide development and deployment of surface surveillance products including ASDE-X, the world’s most capable A-SMGCS system. Tony also pioneered the development and deployment of multilateration systems for surface and wide area applications.

“Tony has been instrumental in the success that our Air Traffic Systems Division has achieved,” said Viggiano. “With his technical experience and customer centric approach, I can’t imagine a more qualified individual to lead the Sensis drive for portal-to-portal solutions, while ensuring value, quality and reliability for our customers.”

Lo Brutto has more than 23 years of experience in Aerospace and Defense related businesses. Prior to his 10 years at Sensis Corporation, Lo Brutto worked for 6 years as a lead systems engineer at Cardion Electronics and 8 years as a Radar Systems engineer at Westinghouse. Lo Brutto received his BSEE from Pratt Institute and an MSA from Johns Hopkins University.
