Sensis Corporation Completes Growth Capital Raise with Needham Capital

Investment to support growth from new contracts and accelerate product development

EAST SYRACUSE, NY – August 13, 2007 – Sensis Corporation announced that the company has secured a minority investment from private equity firms Needham Capital Partners and Dolphin Direct Equity Partners. The financing will support growth as a result of the company’s recently secured contracts and accelerate product development efforts in its defense, security and civil aviation markets.

Jud Gostin, President and CEO of Sensis Corporation, acknowledged that the time is right to bring in growth capital, “Years of investment in Sensis R&D has resulted in a powerful set of technology solutions that meet today’s marketplace needs. This infusion of capital will accelerate deployment of new solutions for our civil aviation, air defense and security markets.” Gostin added, “Needham and Dolphin are ideal partners for Sensis – they have a proven track record for partnering with seasoned management teams and investing growth capital in promising technology companies.”

“We like the market positioning and growth prospects for Sensis,” said George Needham, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Needham Group, Inc. “Open any newspaper today and you can see evidence of the strain on our air transportation system as it struggles under the pressure of safely, efficiently managing flights in an increasingly congested airspace. Similarly, our Armed forces need better tools to ensure the safety of our soldiers in asymmetric conflicts. Sensis has the technology, management team and the customer reputation to address these needs.”

With the funding announcement, Sensis also appointed Peter Salas, founding partner of the Dolphin funds, to the company’s eight member Board of Directors. Salas brings with him extensive private equity and venture capital expertise. Prior to establishing Dolphin, Salas spent ten years with J.P. Morgan Investment Management, Inc. where he was the director of small cap research and co-manager of the small company fund.
