Sensis Corporation Receives CNY BEST Award

EAST SYRACUSE, NY – July 16, 2008 – At the Central New York Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (CNY ASTD) CNY BEST Awards Ceremony, Sensis Corporation was honored as the overall CNY BEST Award Organization winner. Sensis received the award for developing and applying initiatives to improve the customer training process. These initiatives resulted in reduced training costs, more efficient use of training materials, a trainer certification program, and metrics to help identify opportunities for improvement. Sensis was also recognized for helping employees enhance their skills through the internal development and certification program.

The CNY BEST Workplace Learning and Performance Awards recognize excellence in learning and performance practices in CNY. CNY ASTD is the local association dedicated to workplace learning and performance professionals. CNY ASTD’s mission is to connect learning and performance professionals throughout the region and contribute to the growth of the profession.
