Multi-Scan Correlator (MSC)

Multi-scan Correlator

The Sensis Multi-Scan Correlator (MSC) offers data conditioning and management functions for integrating multiple radars into subsequent command and control facilities. The MSC's single sensor track processing supports false plot reduction for both primary and secondary radar inputs, dramatically reducing radar false plots resulting from weather, bird flocks, road traffic, ground clutter, multi-path and anomalous propagation.

Available in dual-redundant configurations, a MSC is capable of managing the System Interface Unit (SIU) functions for up to 64 simultaneous radar inputs with automatic fail-over management. It also provides message processing for inter-facility and central flow control data feeds. The MSC's real-time software is hosted on commercially-available computer platforms utilizing SIUs to handle sensor data input and output processing. Additional features include primary/secondary radar plot association, beacon false target limiting, spatial message filtering and coordinate transformations.
