Sensis Corporation Receives
Patriotic Employer AwardEAST SYRACUSE, NY – February 2, 2009 – The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense organization that helps manage relations between Reserve and National Guard members and their employers, has honored Sensis Corporation with a “Patriotic Employer Award.” The Patriotic Employer Award is given to companies for contributing to national security and protecting liberty and freedom by supporting employee participation in America’s National Guard and Reserve force.
“Sensis is dedicated to providing our National Guard and Reserve employees with the support they need to excel in their military careers and serve our country,” said Jud Gostin, president and chief executive officer of Sensis Corporation.
In addition to Sensis’ support of the active duty requirements of its National Guard and Reserve employees, the company’s employees support our service men and women with activities such as “adopting” the 10th Mountain Division (Ft. Drum) while they were recently deployed overseas. Employees met the troops at a lunch event at the Sensis dining facility before deployment, and provided cards and care packages while overseas and special Christmas stockings during the holiday.
