Sensis Employees Honored with Senior Fellows Award

EAST SYRACUSE, NY – September 22, 2009 – Chris Keeney and John Rougas have received the Sensis Senior Fellows Award, the highest engineering honor at the company. The award recognizes technical excellence and outstanding contributions in the areas of invention/patents, innovative solutions and fundamental research.

Chris Keeney, electrical engineer, was recognized for his hardware engineering work on long range radar and for his design expertise on airport surface movement radar. John Rougas, senior systems engineer, was recognized for being instrumental in the development of concepts to counter explosive threats to the United States military and for contributing to the development of an airport surface movement radar. In addition to the technical contributions they make, Chris and John demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and act as mentors to less experienced engineers. Their leadership and management have resulted in the successful execution of several innovative products.
