» Educational Outreach
Every year, Sensis hosts a Student Engineering Contest, where local high school students compete in a fun and hands-on engineering project with the assistance of a Sensis employee mentor.

The Sensis Seagull Technology Center (STC) in Campbell, CA is situated in the southwest corner of Silicon Valley. Part of the San Francisco Bay Area, Campbell is ripe with history, diversity and technological innovation.

 
» Weather

Campbell boasts 300+ sunny days a year! The Mediterranean climate of the region remains temperate year round due to the area's geography and its proximity to the Pacific Ocean. Warm and dry much of the year, rarely is the humidity uncomfortable, and the thermometer seldom drops below freezing. » Cultural Activities

When people hear the words Silicon Valley, images of computer chips and technology fill their minds. While Campbell, within Silicon Valley, does have a technological focus, it doesn’t mean all work and no play. Attractions include the NASA Ames Research Center, which provides exhibits and interactive opportunities for all ages. History enthusiasts will appreciate the History San Jose Museum, with over 500,000 historical artifacts depicting the area's past. Other local museums and art galleries include the Tech Museum of Innovation, the Rosicrucian Museum, the Children's Discovery Museum, the San Jose Museum of Art and the Triton Museum. There are also abundant performing arts venues such as opera, symphonies, musical theatre, repertory theatre, concerts and children's musical theatre.

Sports fans enjoy cheering on their professional soccer team, the San Jose Earthquakes, their minor league baseball team, the San Jose Giants and the San Jose Sharks, the only NHL team in Northern California. Other local sports include pro roller hockey, the San Jose Sabercats football team and the women’s soccer team, the San Jose CyberRays.

The Campbell area – more specifically Silicon Valley – is home to a large student population, as Stanford University, Santa Clara University and San Jose State University are located here. The area also has a number of excellent community colleges.

 
» Weekend Warrior

In addition to all Campbell has to offer, within a few hours drive, residents can discover a variety of different worlds. Popular day trips from the Campbell area include visits to Napa and Sonoma Wine Country, the famous Lick Observatory on Mt. Hamilton, the hills of San Francisco, any number of white sand beaches along the Pacific Ocean – from Santa Cruz and Half Moon Bay to Monterey and Carmel – or even winter skiing in Tahoe.
